The President’s Circle

In Appreciation

Catholic Answers is blessed to have such dedicated and engaged supporters, many of whom have been alongside us for decades. They provide welcome feedback on our work’s impact, they come from all 50 states and around the world, and they are donors both large and small. Our staff prays daily for all our benefactors.

The President’s Circle

To recognize our most impactful donors’ partnership, Catholic Answers has established the President’s Circle to replace the President’s Club and Founders Circle.

Everyone who donates at least $1,000 in single donations during the calendar year or contributes at least $84 per month in a monthly plan is a member. In all, six tiers comprise the President’s Circle, and each carries a title of the Blessed Mother from the Litany of Loreto. The litany was composed in the Middle Ages and approved by Pope Sixtus V in 1587.

  • Gate of Heaven Society ($1,000-$2,499)
  • Mystical Rose Society ($2,500-$4,999)
  • Morning Star Society ($5,000-$9,999)
  • Seat of Wisdom Society ($10,000-$24,999)
  • Ark of the Covenant Society ($25,000-$49,999)
  • Queen of Angels Society ($50,000+)

President’s Circle members receive the following, regardless of giving amount, in addition to each tier’s unique benefits (contact us for additional details):

  • One free copy of every Catholic Answers product^ released during the year
  • Invitations to VIP receptions at Catholic Answers events
  • A subscription to the print edition of Catholic Answers Magazine
  • Special access to dedicated President’s Circle apologist Tom Nash
  • An invitation to a semi-annual online Q&A with Catholic Answers president Christopher Check

The Annual President’s Circle Weekend

Annually, we plan one long weekend for President’s Circle members to gather with senior leaders, staff apologists, and other Catholic Answers team members. The location varies, and in recent years, we have held the event in San Diego and Dana Point, California, as well as San Antonio and Fort Worth, Texas.

Including apologetics training and updates on the ministry’s current work and future plans, the weekend has abundant opportunities for discussion with the Catholic Answers team. As a special treat, we always invite a “co-worker in the vineyard”—a well-respected thought leader from outside Catholic Answers who provides an engaging dinner talk.

Daily Mass is included as well as enjoyable local outings, delightful meals—and Cy Kellett’s highly competitive Catholic trivia contest! It all makes the President’s Circle Weekend a unique opportunity to relax with joyful, like-minded Catholics. Come once, and you will want to return year after year.

All President’s Circle members at the Mystical Rose Society and above are invited to attend, and registration is free for Morning Star Society members and above.

For additional details on the President’s Circle and each giving level’s unique benefits, contact David Matheson at dmatheson@catholic.com or 619-387-7200 for more information.

^ Twice a year, a checklist is mailed to members for choosing products they would like to receive that were produced during the previous six months. Catholic Answers School of Apologetics courses are available only at the Mystical Rose Society level and above. A delay of up to six months is possible, between the availability of a book for sale and its appearance on a President’s Circle checklist.
* President’s Circle Qualification: For donors giving one gift, or multiple non-recurring gifts during the year, level qualification occurs when total donations for the calendar year meet or exceed the minimum amount to qualify for a given level. Monthly donors whose 12-month donation projection meets or exceeds the minimum dollar amount for a level receive benefits immediately upon the processing of the first month’s donation. Any supporter who initially qualifies for a level due to a monthly donation but subsequently suspends or cancels that monthly donation prior to satisfying the full qualification dollar amount will immediately forfeit their benefits at that level until a qualifying monthly donation is restarted. Catholic Answers reserves the right to determine, at all times, who does or does not qualify for President’s Circle benefits.
