Praying for a Dying Person

Question:

Can we pray the Divine Mercy chaplet mercy to ask Jesus to take us to a dying person’s bed in the world so they go to heaven? And will they?

Answer:

Don’t worry about praying to be at someone’s bedside. The gift of bilocation is not common. And, in any event, of definite greater worth is when a person says yes to God’s gift of salvation. Simply pray for the salvation of those who will die soon, and particularly for those most in need of God’s mercy. And then leave it in God’s hands, who always judges souls with merciful justice.
