The Divine Mercy chaplet is a prayer devotion said on standard rosary beads that is believed to have been given by Christ to St. Faustina Kowalska (1905–38) as a means of beseeching God’s mercy on sinners. St. Faustina recorded the visions she had of Christ and the Blessed Virgin in a diary entitled Divine Mercy in My Soul.
