My mom told us that she would like to go on some sort of trip over the Easter holiday to see relatives. I was planning to spend these days in prayer, spiritual reading, and with family. What should be the proper plan of action?
Answer:
Our blessed Lord suffered and died on Good Friday. He spent that day on our behalf. The least we can do is spend it on his. Tell your mother to choose some other weekend. This one is taken.
