Morality of Foot Massage

Listen to the audio version of this content

Question:

Is there anything wrong with foot massaging if it’s not used for therapy (ex. after a car accident)?

Answer:

As you note, there’s nothing wrong with the therapeutic use of foot massaging or other forms of genuine therapeutic massage.

However, if a sensual element is involved, whether on the part of the massager and/or the person being massaged, then such massaging should be confined to married couples, given the passions that can be aroused that logically lead to sexual intimacy.
