Yes, and that’s precisely why this belief is in both the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed. St. Paul and Jesus clearly affirm that the dead will truly rise in a bodily manner (1 Cor. 15:35-37; John 5:28-29; Matt. 25:31, 32, 46; see also CCC 988-1019, 1038-1050).
