Question:

Is singing the Divine Mercy Chaplet allowed on Good Friday?

Answer:

The classic time to begin reciting the Divine Mercy Chaplet novena is Good Friday. And, in any event, the Church does not prohibit the Chaplet’s being sung on Good Friday. Indeed, hymns are otherwise sung during the Church’s official Good Friday liturgy.
