How Old Is the Didache?

Your friend is mistaken. There is no historical doubt that the Didache dates to the late first century or early second century. It was rediscovered in the latter 1800s, but its existence was affirmed by the early Church Fathers, including the historian Eusebius of Caesarea. Some Church Fathers said the Didache was next to Holy Scripture.
