How would you feel if someone whom you know loves you tells you, “I am not sure I love you enough; I want to love you more.” I don’t know about you, but I would be touched and delighted, and I would say, “The fact that you want to love me more than you do now is more than enough for me. Thank you! I love you too!”
How happy Our Lord is that you desire to love him more. It is he who has inspired this desire in you, because he really and truly desires your love more than anyone else who loves you or who has loved you or who ever will. If you love him so, I am sure you will find plenty of opportunities. Just don’t be too picky. Even the least thought or word might be enough for now. You do not have to do great things, you just need to love the Lord and his Blessed Mother and offer them whatever occurs to you, and share with them all you do. Don’t leave them out, don’t let hours or days go by without thinking of them and speaking to them in your heart.
In short, we are always thinking of the ones we love the most. And you can be sure that Jesus and Mary have been thinking of you, since they have moved you by grace to long for them!
