Steve Patton

Steve Patton is the Director of the Department of Evangelization and Catechesis for the Diocese of Sacramento. He began his work career as and civil and criminal attorney and has been working full-time for the Church since graduating in 1997 with a master’s degree in theology from Franciscan University. Mr. Patton oversees all department programs, including evangelization, catechesis, ministry to the deaf, respect life, and ministry with youth and young adults. He presented the popular CD Why Contraception Matters while serving as the Family Life Director for the Diocese of St. Augustine, Florida and the heart of his Catholic ministry is the truth and beauty of Humanae Vitae and how it fosters marital happiness and longevity.
