Ray Simmons, father of five, lives in Atlanta with his wife, Cynthia.

By the time Ray entered his sophomore year in high school, he had become skeptical of Christianity. He wondered how evolution fit in with the Bible. None of his Sunday school teachers could answer his questions. Unimpressed with all the Christians he knew, he almost abandoned his childhood faith. All this changed, though, when he was included him in a program for gifted students. Through the program, Ray learned how to study the Greek New Testament as well as Bible study methods. Captivated by Biblical Greek, Ray saved his money to build a library of Greek lexicons along with other study tools. Once in college, Ray studied logic and philosophy. As professors raised questions, Ray researched to find answers building a solid foundation for his teaching ministry.
