Patricia is the author of critically acclaimed books on saints of the modern era, including her recently expanded and updated Nothing Short of a Miracle: God’s Healing Power in Modern Saints. Her books have been translated into a number of languages. They have received awards or other honors by Protestant and secular groups, and have been on Catholic Best Seller lists—her book Meet John XXIII: Joyous Pope and Father to All winning a Catholic Press award. In 2013 Treece released a 30th anniversary edition of her first biography, A Man for Others, on St. Maximilian Kolbe, which has never been out of print. A convert, she writes for the human family, specializing in the modern search for authenticity and immediacy. In every book she hopes to share compelling evidence of God’s reality, love, and power to transform our situations and us.
