Obianuju Ekeocha (Uju for short) is an African woman, living and working in the United Kingdom for the past seven years as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist. She has a Bachelors degree in Microbiology from University of Nigeria and a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from University of East London.

She is also the founder of Culture of Life Africa (www.cultureoflifeafrica.com), an initiative dedicated to the promotion of a Culture of Life in Africa through the dissemination of good information, sensitisation and education.

And on this note she has written several African-themed articles on the sanctity of life, marriage, motherhood and population control in Africa. 

Her articles, one of which is the “Open Letter to Melinda Gates”, have been published by many websites, media outlets and newspapers including the website of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for the Laity (women’s section).

Uju has been featured on EWTN Radio, AveMaria Radio, Sacred Heart Radio and BBC TV & Radio shows, discussing the need and urgency of building up an authentic Culture of Life for Africa.

Her passion and privilege is to continue to work in defense of the sanctity and dignity of life within culture.
