Lavinia Spirito is the Founding Team Teaching Leader for Catholic Way Bible Study. Though she grew up in Rome, Italy, Lavinia received her BA in Anthropology and Spanish from The University of Michigan, obtained her JD from The University of Kentucky College of Law and is currently working on her Masters in Theology from The Franciscan University of Steubenville.
In 2003, Lavinia joined the Teaching Team for the annual Summer Institute School of Bible Study sponsored by Renewal Ministries in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is co-host of “Real Living”, a weekly radio program on relevant issues facing today’s Catholics. She is an active lay teacher, spiritual director and evangelist in parish renewal and the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the US and Italy. She has led and participated in the Life in the Spirit Seminars, Christ Renews His Parish, Disciples in Mission, and CCD. Lavinia is a respected speaker and author.
She prepares and writes the lectures for the CWBS Bible Studies and Series. Lavinia and her husband Michael live in Lexington, Kentucky with their two daughters.
