Elizabeth McClung

Contributor

Elizabeth McClung founded the Austin Coalition for Life when she was 22 years old.

Elizabeth became interested in pro-life ministry when a friend asked her to stand and pray at the first ever 40 Days for Life in 2004 – her freshman year at Texas A&M. She had grown up in a pro-life family and was involved in pro-life activities at a very young age, but from all the speeches at speech and debate tournaments, to the articles in the newspapers, to the radio call-ins and prayer groups at her church, she had never actually stood in front of the very building where children were being aborted and women were being hurt.  A few years later, she was trained as a sidewalk counselor and has since lost count of the number of women she has been blessed to help turn around and choose life.

She encourages others to get involved in pro-life ministry and sidewalk counseling.
