Catherine Brown Tkacz

Catherine Brown Tkacz earned her Ph.D. in medieval studies from the University of Notre Dame. Author of two scholarly books and dozens of scholarly articles, she is also a published poet. She writes from Spokane, Washington. This article is dedicated to her goddaughters, Christine Marie Dits, Karen Mannino, and Morielle, Fiona, and Julia Pudewa.
