Anastasia Northrop has been promoting John Paul II’s understanding of the human person worldwide since 2000.  Founder and Director of the National Catholic Singles Conference, she has been particularly involved in applying John Paul II’s message to the single life since 2004.  Inadvertently single herself, she has had much more practice living the theology of the body as a single woman than she ever anticipated.  Along with organizing events and writing articles related to the theology of the body and singles, she has given talks and promoted study groups in the United States and several countries in Europe and South America.  She is president of the Theology of the Body International Allliance (TOBIA), and is the author of the study guide for the text of the Theology of the Body entitled The Freedom of the Gift.  For more information on the theology of the body or the National Catholic Singles Conference, visit www.TheologyoftheBody.net and www.NationalCatholicSingles.com.
