Whom We Honor on All Saints Day

We honor all those who have a human or angelic nature who now enjoy the vision of God in heaven—namely, those who have achieved eternal salvation in its essential aspect. The human beings who have the beatific vision, as it is called, for the most part still await one more aspect of their happiness: the resurrection of their bodies, which Christ will bring about on the last day.
