When Carrying a Rosary Is Superstitious

Question:

Is it superstitious to think that keeping a rosary with you will protect you?

Answer:

If you think the mere fact that you have a rosary physically with you will protect you, then, yes, that is superstitious.

If, however, you think that praying the rosary will improve your spiritual life and improve your relationship to God and help you face whatever problems come your way, then, no, that is not superstitious.
