The Bible in Russian

Yes, there is a Russian Bible, and it is not hard to get. But be sure to ask for an Orthodox edition so that it has all the books of the Bible. You can get Orthodox Bibles online easily, but beware of the Protestant ones, which often have notes that oppose Catholic and Orthodox teaching. The so-called “Synodal” Bible is used somewhat by everyone in Russia, Orthodox and Protestant. But you still need to get an Orthodox edition so that the notes also are sound.
