Am I culpable if I’m the circulating nurse in the operating room during a tubal ligation?

Answer:

You may assist in making sure that the patient is safe and that complications are avoided, but you may not directly help in the procedure. I am sorry you have such a sad situation. We are always able to help medically those who have done wrong, as long as we don’t help in the wrong itself.
