OK to Buy Nephews a Bible?

Question:

Is it okay to buy a Bible for my nephews if my brother and his wife don’t practice religion?

Answer:

It is certainly fine, but I would suggest that you simply give them a New Testament with the Psalms. There is a nice edition from Ignatius Press of a New Testament and Psalms. This will be easier for them to use and understand than if you were to include at this point the whole Old Testament. Give them rosaries also with a little leaflet (there are many available) on how to pray it.
