No Confession Without Baptism

Question:

Can you go to confession if you have not been baptized?

Answer:

The Code of Canon Law states, “A person who has not received baptism cannot be admitted validly to the other sacraments” (can. 842 §1).

The sacraments are for the enrichment of the baptized. If someone believes in Jesus and wants his sins forgiven, then he should become baptized. Baptism forgives all sins. Confession is the forgiveness of sins post-baptism.
