May I Attend a Sedevacantist Mass?

Listen to the audio version of this content

Question:

Is it a sin to attend a sedevacantist Mass?

Answer:

It would depend upon a person’s reason(s) for attending. Attending for social or educational reasons is not necessarily wrong. Attending because the person agrees the theological position (that there is no valid pope) would indeed be sinful.
