Is It OK to Drink ‘Sweet Baby Jesus’ Beer?

Question:

Is it okay to drink a beer called “Sweet Baby Jesus”?

Answer:

Well, there is a wine named Lacryma Christi after the tears of Christ that Catholics have been drinking around Naples for centuries, and there is a sweet white wine in Germany called Our Lady’s Milk, so I suppose you can drink a beer named for the Holy Child! There are numerous beers and wines and spirits named for the saints and angels as well. I presume of course that it is not named so out of irreverence. In any case, I would take it as a reminder to pray to the Sweet Baby Jesus more often—or at least when you drink the beer named for him!
