Question:
Is homeostasis a real thing or is it a new age concept?
Answer:
Homeostasis is a scientific term that refers the ability of organisms to regulate themselves to remain in a constant state.
For example, our bodies naturally try to remain at a temperature of 98.6 degrees. If we overheat our bodies will sweat in an attempt to cool us off. If our bodies feel a drop in temperature our bodies naturally react to conserve heat and prevent heat loss.
It is a scientific term and not a spiritual one.
