Death a Wake-Up Call for Atheists

Question:

Will all atheists believe in God after death? My atheist friend says that if she sees God when she dies, she will assume that she’s hallucinating.

Answer:

After death no one believes in God because they will know that God exists. Your atheist friend, as is typical of atheists, imposes on God and the supernatural the limitations experienced here on Earth. She naively thinks that one can hallucinate without a body and has no idea how arrogant she sounds to a believer.

It is good to remember that we could easily be where she is. Our gift of faith is just that: a gift. It is one that we have received only through God’s mercy and is not the result of our merit.
