A Non-Catholic Spouse and Parish Life

Question:

Can a Buddhist be a member of a Catholic parish when her husband and children are members?

Answer:

Anyone is welcome to attend Mass. Someone who is not Catholic nor baptized cannot, obviously, receive the sacraments or perform a liturgical role. However, that person can certainly attend Mass with her family and take part in the various social activities within the parish.

We’re a nonprofit —no ads, just truth. Will you help us stay that way?
