A member of the Catholic Answers board of trustees, Paul M. Jonna, Esq. is a Partner with the civil litigation firm LiMandri & Jonna LLP in Rancho Santa Fe, California. He also serves as Special Counsel to the Thomas More Society, a national public interest law firm dedicated to restoring respect in law for life, family, and religious liberty. Mr. Jonna is admitted to practice before all courts in California, before the Ninth Circuit, and before the U.S. Supreme Court. His practice focuses on high-profile Constitutional litigation, complex business litigation, and serious personal injury cases.

Mr. Jonna has been selected by the San Diego Business Journal as one of the “Best of the Bar” and has repeatedly been named to Super Lawyers’ San Diego Rising Stars lists. In 2021, Mr. Jonna was one of thirty-five lawyers in California selected for the CLAY award (“California Lawyer Attorney of the Year”) by the Los Angeles Daily Journal—in recognition of his work in South Bay v. Newsom, where the U.S. Supreme Court struck down California’s indoor worship ban, which was imposed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Jonna earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He resides in Rancho Santa Fe with his wife and seven children.
