Camron Bendfeld grew up on a farm in Alberta, Canada, with two brothers and a sister. College baseball brought him to the United States, where he earned a degree in Christian studies at Wayland Baptist University. He now lives in Kansas City, MO with his wife and daughter, where he teaches theology and is working on a Master’s in theology from the Augustine Institute.
Camron was nominally Catholic until his time at Wayland Baptist. He unofficially became a non-denominational Christian before reverting to the Catholic Church. As a result, Camron is passionate about ecumenical dialogue and the Church Fathers (who played an instrumental role in his reversion). Today, he spends much of his time reading theology and philosophy and posting on his website (camron.j.bendfeld@weebly.com) when he’s not reading to his daughter the greatest piece of fiction ever written (The Lord of the Rings of course…).
