End-of-Year Message from Our President, Christopher Check

My friends, Catholic Answers needs your help.

This year, at the same time our apostolic work has taken off, we are experiencing a financial shortfall. We estimate it will amount to more than $400,000.

It’s urgent that we make up this shortfall, or we will have to cut back on current projects.

Over the past four years, the ministry has reached more people with the gospel, across more media platforms, than ever.

My task is to see this growth continue. Two big projects for 2019 include a brand-new catholic.com and the launch of something we have dreamed of for many years: The Catholic Answers School of Apologetics.

The new website will provide a vastly improved user experience. We’ve already done the back-end work to position ourselves so that when people search for answers about the Catholic faith, the first thing they will find is catholic.com.

And the School of Apologetics will very much increase the impact of Catholic Answers because it will prepare you to take the fullness of the truth with clarity and charity to all the people you meet in your daily life.

All this new work means the biggest budget in the history of Catholic Answers: $8.5 million.

But if we’re going to reach more and more souls in the coming year, we need to make up that $400,000 deficit. If we don’t, we’ll have to cut back on the work we’re doing.

We don’t often send urgent messages like this, but we need to let you know that if you want Catholic Answers to continue to reach more souls, we need you to be as generous as you can be.

Please—click the link below and become part of Catholic Answers’ annual giving campaign.

My staff and I thank you, and so will the people whose lives are changed by Catholic Answers. Know that you are in our prayers every day.

And may God reward you richly this Advent and Christmas for your generosity to Catholic Answers.

Faithfully yours in Christ,

Christopher Check
President
