Catholic Radio Debuts in L.A.

The people of Los Angeles can now hear Catholic Answers Live over the airwaves.

On November 17, Immaculate Heart Radio held a launch ceremony at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles for its newest radio station. Catholic Answers Live was there to broadcast from the event.

Catholic Answers Live began in 1998 and was broadcast on four stations. Now, KHJ is the latest of over 230 stations to carry it, with a signal reaching over 14 million people in the greater Los Angeles area.

“Angelinos love their radio and they’re going to love Catholic Answers Live each day,” said Patrick Coffin, host of Catholic Answers Live. It is providential that Immaculate Heart Radio would establish a station in the city originally named for the Blessed Mother, El Pueblo de la Reina de Los Angeles, or the City of the Queen of the Angels. They might now call it the City of the Media, as radio stands alongside movies and television as its main exports. It’s a real honor to be a part of harnessing this latent potential for evangelization.”

If you’re in the Los Angeles area, you can now can listen to Catholic Answers Live on 930 AM every weekday from 3 to 5 pm.
