Lorea, titular see in the province of Arabia, suffragan of Bostra. The city figures in the different manuscripts of the “Notitlae episcopatuum” of Antioch in the tenth century under the names of Lourea, Dourea, and Lorea (Ethos d’orient, II, 170; X, 95). This is all that is known concerning the city, which is not mentioned by any geographer, and the location of which is unknown.
