Audio only:

Questions Covered:

  • 03:57 - Whose opinion takes precedence when choosing music for liturgies?
  • 14:03 - What does one do with cremated remains?
  • 18:53 - Where did the mysteries of the rosary come from?
  • 23:40 - How can grandparents respond to grandchildren who have divorced parents, one of which is not Catholic and telling them that the Eucharist is just a symbol? Our daughter takes them to Mass when she has them but half the time they are with their father who is Baptist. We want them to respect both parents and do not want to say or do anything to impact their relationship negatively with either of them. Still, we want them to know and understand Church teaching. What should we do?
  • 28:55 - How do I explain the word flesh mentioned in John 6?
  • 34:04 - Where should one start when wanting to read scripture?
  •  42:37 - What are the Biblical and Church teachings about having sexual relations before marriage?
  • 45:52 - If you ask for the intercession of two people and receive a miracle, which person gets the credit?
  • 48:58 - Was there a concept of a Passover before Moses?
  • 51:18 - Why do the Orthodox who do not follow the Pope still continue to have apostolic succession with valid sacraments? I was always told that Catholic splinter groups like the SSPX would lose their apostolic succession after the last validly ordained priest in their group died. Is this not true?
  • 53:01 - I hope this point’s not obscure.  it’s a point about clarifying the actual name of the Father, Trinity’s First Person.  some insist that the spelling should be either YHVH, or YHWH, or Yahweh.  i know almost no Hebrew & i nevertheless want to call God the Father Jehovah.  Even during internal prayer, i sometimes salute The Father as Father Jehovah.  Am i blaspheming when i say “Jehovah”?  Do I need to play it safe; & just say: “Our Father”?
