Someone has asked me to pray for a son and daughter-in-law who can only get pregnant by in vitro fertilization. How do I lovingly tell them that the Church does not support this?
If a child dies in an abortion or say at 5 years old, when they die does the child have sin?
Why is it that we focus so much on what women go through, which is heartbreaking and very important, but we never talk about what men go through? Both suffer but in different ways.
One of the teachers at my child’s catholic school said that if one was suffering badly, they could commit suicide. My understanding is that the teacher said it was not a sin to do that. Does the Church consider this a mortal sin or not?
