Open Forum for Non-Catholics

Steve Ray

When Catholics are promoting celibacy and chastity to homosexuals, are there different guidelines depending on if the messenger is married or single?

Why do Catholics feel it is necessary to confess to a person rather than directly to Jesus? And where do Catholics get their bible?

I’m a fallen away Catholic and now I’m a Lutheran. I fell away because I feel like Catholics put too much emphasis on Mary. Why is she so important?

The Catholic Church keeps changing its teachings over the years, so how can it be the one true church?

I have a dilemma. I’m getting ready to teach classes at a local Evangelical church but I’m having trouble because I tend to go towards Catholic teaching. Is there anywhere I can go where I can get further clarification on Catholic teaching?

In the book of Hebrews it says that “Christ died once for all.” How does that mesh with the teaching that the Mass is truly Christ’s body and blood being sacrificed over and over again?
