Lorraine V. Murray is the religion columnist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where her column “Grace Notes” appears twice monthly. It is also distributed to other newspapers nationally through Cox News Services.
Lorraine is a book reviewer and regular columnist with The Georgia Bulletin, the Catholic newspaper of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. In 2007, her column was awarded second place nationally for “best regular column—general commentary” from the Catholic Press Association.
She is the author of Confessions of an Ex-Feminist published by Ignatius Press. She holds a doctorate in philosophy from theUniversity ofFlorida, as well as a master’s degree in English. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She taught college-level philosophy and English for many years inAtlanta before becoming a free-lance writer.
Lorrainelives in Decatur, Georgia, with her husband, Jef, who is the artist-in-residence for The Saint Austin Review.
