ON Saturday we drove along the pilgrimage route
to see if anti-Catholics were plying their trade. Not seeing any of
them, but seeing lots of policemen, we decided not to interrupt the
marchers but to watch and take pictures from the embankments. Many
pilgrims recognized us from the Catholic Answers logo on our sacks,
and they cheered, waved, and thanked us. It was very gratifying. We
met a catechetical director from India who said he wants to translate
the booklet in the country's twenty chief dialects.
