By looking at both the Old and New Testaments, Karlo responds to the common objection that denies the existence of a ministerial priesthood in the New Testament Church.  He gives the biblical evidence that Jesus, in continuity with the economy of salvation, establishes a hierarchical priesthood among the New People of God.  Karlo gives reasons how a priest who intercedes on behalf of God’s People in no way takes away from the unique mediation of Jesus Christ.
