My Mother Is A Virgin
Matthew Fradd

“Why do Catholics pay such special attention to Mary?”, “On what basis to Catholics claim that Mary was immaculately conceived or assumed into heaven?”, “How do I begin to develop a devotion to Mary?” These and many other sincere questions are asked by Catholics and non-Catholics alike. In this presentation Matt explains from the pages of Scripture and the writings of the Church Fathers the importance of Marian devotion in a compelling way which is as informative as it is humorous.

The Key To Understanding Mary
Jimmy Akin

A clear, straightforward explanation of the coherency in all Marian doctrine that brings all Catholic teaching about Mary, through a single theme, into harmony.

Mary: A New Eve For A New Humanity
Karlo Broussard

Karlo unveils the prophecy of the protoevangelium found in Genesis 3:15 and identifies its fulfillment in Mary as the New Eve for a New Humanity.  Through this study of the sacred page, Karlo elegantly draws out the biblical nuggets that suggest, prove and point toward the sinlessness of Mary, both in her conception and throughout her life.

Mary Our Queen Mother & The Cause Of Our Rejoicing
Karlo Broussard

Karlo engages in an in depth study of the mystery of the annunciation and pulls out the clues that point toward Mary inaugurating through her fiat the messianic age.  He also identifies in the annunciation the biblical theology of Mary as the New Israel.  Finally, Karlo gives an exegesis of the words of Gabriel and shows how Mary is revealed in the annunciation as the Queen Mother of the restored Davidic Kingdom.

Mary the Mother of God & the New Ark of the Covenant
Karlo Broussard

Karlo directs an in depth study of reading the New Testament in light of the Old specifically by giving an exegesis of the mystery of the Visitation found in Luke’s Gospel.  With a close examination of the words from Elizabeth and Mary, Karlo demonstrates that Mary is the Mother of God and the New Ark of the Covenant.  Finally, Karlo highlights the motif of the restoration and consolation of Israel present within this mystery.

Mary: The Joy of Israel, the Joy of Humanity
Karlo Broussard

In this three session seminar, Karlo demonstrates that although Mary’s presence in Scripture might seem minuscule on the surface, in reality it goes to a depth that far exceeds what meets the eye at first glance.  Karlo gives reasons why Mary is a New Eve for a New Humanity, why she is the cause of both Israel and Gentile rejoicing and the fact that Mary is the New Ark of the Covenant.    Karlo exemplifies in a beautiful way the Catholic methodology of reading the New Testament in light of the Old and the Old in light of the New.  He shows how God weaves a masterful tapestry of the Blessed Virgin within the whole of the economy of salvation.

New Eve, Mediatrix And Mother: Mary’s Role In God’s Plan Of Salvation
Tim Staples

Tim’s talk is the definitive response to the question: “If Mary is so important, why is it there is so little about her in Scripture and she only speaks five times?” Tim takes you through the Gospels and into the Book of Acts and the Book of Revelation showing how Mary alone among human persons was present and/or most intimately involved with each of the key events in salvation history, from the Incarnation in Luke 1:37-38, to the “birthing” of Jesus’ Ministry and the apostles in faith John 2, to the crucifixion of our Lord in John 19, to the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, to a vivid presentation of the perennial battle for souls between the world empowered by the Devil and the People of God empowered by the Holy Spirit in Revelation 12. All are guaranteed to leave this talk with both a renewed sense of the wonders God has wrought through Mary, as well as a challenge to see in Mary our own calling as Christians!

Mary, The Mother Of God - What’s All The Fuss About?
Tim Staples

Using paragraph 89 of the CCC and paragraph 65 of The Dogmatic Constitution on the Church—Lumen Gentium, Tim demonstrates this first and greatest dogma concerning Mary to be an exemplar of the truth that “there is an organic connection between our spiritual life and the dogmas” (CCC 89) and truly it can be said that Mary, “unites in her person and re-echoes the most important doctrines of the Faith” (LG 65). Tim brings to light the axiom, “No Mary, No Jesus—Know Mary, Know Jesus” as exemplified by this most ancient Marian dogma.

The Immaculate Conception And The Dignity Of Man
Tim Staples

Tim gives the biblical and reasonable evidence for the dogma of the Immaculate Conception against the claims that texts such as Romans 3:23 and I John 1:8 render this dogma contra-biblical. Then, Tim shows why this doctrine is crucial for us to understand. Not only does Mary lead us to her Son and to the Blessed Trinity, but she also teaches us who we are as Christians as well. To understand the Immaculate Conception properly reveals to us our own dignity as sons and daughters of God.

Mary, The Mother Of The Eucharist
Tim Staples

“Mother of the Eucharist” is a title of our Lady that has been growing in popularity in the last 50 years in the Church. Tim explains how this title of Mary connects Mary as Mother of God and Mary as Mediatrix and brings them both into perspective for Catholics in their daily lives.
