Marcellino D'Ambrosio

Marcellino did his Ph.D. studies in historical theology at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
His doctoral dissertation, written under the guidance of renowned Jesuit theologian Avery Dulles, focused on one of the theological lights of the Second Vatican Council, Henri Cardinal de Lubac, and his attempt to recover the way of interpreting Scripture practiced by the Fathers of the Church.
A specialist in the hermeneutics of Scripture and Tradition, he has served as assistant professor of theology at the Institute of Religious and Pastoral Studies of the University of Dallas, teaching courses in historical, fundamental, and sacramental theology as well as in evangelization, ecumenism, liturgy, and Vatican II.
His scholarly work has been published in the international journal Communio and in Abingdon's Dictionary of Biblical Interpretation.
Marcellino brings to his teaching a wealth of pastoral experience in evangelization, ecumenism, liturgy, Hispanic ministry, and adult education.
Tapes of his popular teaching include "Answering His Call" and "Touching Jesus Through The Church."
An experienced teacher on secondary, college, and graduate levels, he is also an accomplished musician noted for his creative use of music and media in evangelization, teen outreach, and Hispanic ministry.
He has appeared numerous times as a performer and guest on the Eternal Word Television Network.

Fees:
Costs include an honorarium for the first talk of $1200 plus travel expenses. The honorarium for each additional talk given that day is $800.
