Fr. Leo Patalinghug is a priest of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, where he is involved in parish ministry, education, and evangelization. He is an internationally renowned conference speaker, author, TV host, radio contributor, and founder of the movement and apostolate, Grace Before Meals. Grace Before Meals inspires and strengthens family relationships through universal spiritual insights and the dynamic of personal interaction shared around the dinner table.
Fr. Leo’s unique background as a former martial arts championship title holder and a choreographer for an award-winning breakdancing group has provided him unique experiences and insights that have caught the attention and acclamation of diverse audiences. He has appeared on PBS, ABC, CBS, and the Food Network, where he defeated a world famous chef in the surprise cooking competition show, "Throw Down! with Bobby Flay."
Currently, Fr. Leo contributes to a monthly food column “Catholic Culinary Confessions” in Baltimore’s The Catholic Review, hosts a weekly cooking show on EWTN called Savoring Our Faith, and has over 10,000 subscribers to his weekly blog at GraceBeforeMeals.com. Through his blog, Fr. Leo provides a meal with a meaningful message to help strengthen families around the world with lessons of faith, family, and food.
