The Difference the Incarnation Makes (Encore)
Jeff Cavins is recognized both nationally and internationally as an exciting public speaker and Bible teacher. He communicates the Catholic faith at a level that everyone can understand, taking theological truths and expressing them in a practical way.
He is the creator of the popular Great Adventure Bible Study series, published by Ascension Press. The foundational study, The Bible Timeline: the Story of Salvation, has enabled students to understand the chronological flow of Scripture. Other Great Adventure Bible studies taught and recorded by Jeff include studies on the books of Matthew, Acts, Revelation, Psalms, and James. Currently, more than 3,500 groups are using these studies in the United States and other countries. Great Adventure studies have helped hundreds of thousands of Catholics and other Christians engage Scripture in a life-changing way.
Jeff is the founding host of the EWTN program Life on the Rock and Relevant Radio’s Morning Air. He is author of several books, including the best-selling My Life on the Rock: A Rebel Returns to the Catholic Faith and I’m Not Being Fed: The Food That Satisfies the Soul. He is also co-editor of the Amazing Grace series. His newest book, Walking with God: A Journey Through the Bible, co-authored with Dr. Tim Gray, provides an insightful overview of the Bible.
Jeff received an M.A. in theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He currently serves as the director of the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute at the St. Paul Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is also a fellow of the Augustine Institute in Denver. Jeff resides with his wife, Emily, and their daughters in Minnesota.
In “I’m Not Being Fed!” Discovering the Food that Satisfies the Soul, Jeff Cavins explores the reasons why many Catholics do not seem to understand and appreciate the Holy Eucharist—and why some have even left the Church, saying that they simply weren’t being “fed” and that they longed for a more personal, “spiritually nourishing” relationship with Jesus.
