The Art of Memory for Apologists

Friday, Oct 11, 2013 - 6pm ET

Dr. Kevin Vost has served as a public service administrator in the disability field, professor of psychology and gerontology for the University of Illinois at Springfield, Research Review Committee Member for American Mensa, weightlifting instructor and fitness writer for the International Association of Resistance Trainers, lector at St. Agnes Church, and fast food fries and drinks man (a few decades back).

Dr.Vost is the author of six Catholic books: Memorize the Faith!, Fit for Eternal Life, Unearthing Your Ten Talents, From Atheism to Catholicism, St. Albert the Great, and Tending the Temple. A self-described Thomistic Albertian, he is currently in the throes of crafting a new book called Three Irish Saints (two of whom, of course, are Sts. Patrick & Kevin!), and also a new memory book called Memorize the Reasons! for a publishing house called Catholic Answers.

Memorize The Reasons! Defending the Faith With the Catholic Art of Memory
In his bestseller Memorize the Faith!, Kevin Vost rediscovered a memory method invented by the ancient Romans and perfected by medieval scholars, and showed twenty-first-century Catholics how to use it to recall everything from the Ten Commandments to the Seven Deadly Sins. Now, in Memorize the Reasons!, Dr. Vost shows you how to remember information you need to explain and defend the Catholic Faith.
