Could you explain for me why our set religion (Protestant) seems to alienate itself from the Catholic Church?

I have a Catholic relative that has a strange ritual for praying for angels and I am wondering if I should follow that ritual.

I’ve been going to a Methodist Church and I’m interested in becoming Catholic. Could you help?

Let’s say this pope retires and there is an ultra liberal pope that takes the seat and proclaims ex cathedra that homosexuality and abortion is okay. What would be the reaction of the Church?

My neighbor practices wicken, should I be concerned?

What makes confession invalid, i.e. too concealed and scrupulosity?
