My friend said that the Pope said that you don’t need to believe in Jesus to be saved. Is this true?

My wife is going through RCIA. Why does she have to wait for confirmation to go to confession, or does she?

On a show on the History Channel they said that each one of the apostles had different ideas of what Jesus taught and they each had their own groups; it wasn’t a monolithic Church. What is your take on this?

Ephesians 3:10 talks about how the Church will instruct the powers and principalities. Is this proof against the general, nebulous idea of “the Church” that Protestants have? Also, is Wisdom 3:5 a good proof for purgatory?

How do I answer one of my students who asked, “Why did Jesus have to die at all?”

My boss doesn’t believe in the Bible except for the parables. He says he bases this on a book by a Catholic that said there was a discovery of a different Bethlehem in Judea. Have you heard of this?
