MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES
Catholic Answers accepts original manuscript submissions under the following guidelines:
Books, Pamphlets, etc.
Fiction, poetry, collections of articles or essays that have already been published, prayer/spirituality, dissertations, and theses are not among our topics of focus and are rarely accepted.
This Rock magazine
The foregoing guidelines apply only to book length submissions. This Rock magazine does not accept unsolicited articles for publication (with the exception of "Damascus Road" conversion stories).
Format
We do not accept manuscripts on electronic storage media. Please submit original material in Microsoft Word format via email to , or a typed and double-spaced hard copy to the following address:

If you would like to have the hard copy of the submitted manuscript returned to you, please include postage. Submissions that do not include postage will not be returned.
Only completed manuscripts will be accepted for review.
If a manuscript is accepted, it will be copy-edited according to Catholic Answers style; a variation of The Chicago Manual of Style — 15th Edition.
Due to the high volume of manuscript submissions we receive, the period of review can take up to three months or more. You will be notified of our decision by mail.
