On Tuesday I wrote how some criminals take advantage of God's forgiveness and use it as a license to sin (something Paul says is a big no-no in Romans 6:1-4). The last few weeks have been quite eventful for us Catholics. Pope Benedict XVI shocked the world by announcing that he would be stepping down as head of the 1.2 billion-member Catholic Church.
