A number of years ago, I read a blog by an anti-Catholic Protestant apologist. The Protestant had been raised a Catholic, but (according to him) "found Jesus," "got saved," and was spending his time writing anti-Catholic screeds to inform Catholics why they didn't have Jesus and would be going to hell. The same year I became Catholic, 1996, I took a trip to visit a friend in Philadelphia. We spent a week visiting the sites in Washington, D.C. One of the places I most wanted to visit was the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, which had opened a few years previously to national acclaim.
